Ramadan: Senator Tokunbo Abiru Urges Muslims To Seek God’s Face On Frightening Insecurity

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Tokunbo Abiru has urged muslims to use the Ramadan period to seek God’s face over Nigeria’s challenges.

In a Ramadan message he personally signed, the Senator observed that there is a need to cry to God over frightening insecurity in the land. 

Senator Abiru also called on Muslims to show tolerance to other Nigerians who dont share their religious beliefs. 

He said, “ Fellow Muslims and all Nigerians, I appeal to us to avail the glorious month of Ramadan to seek God’s face on disturbing happenings in the polity.

“Let us pray to Almighty Allah to quell the frightening insecurity occasioned by armed  banditry, kidnapping and other violent crimes.  

“I also urge us to shun every bigotry disposition to fellow Nigerians who belong to other faith. Peace , harmony and tolerance should exemplify us as true believers”.
