APC NEC Dissolves NWC, Appoints Yobe Gov, Buni To Head Caretaker Committee

The National Executive Council, NEC of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has dissolved the party’s  National Working Committee and appointed Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni to head the caretaker committee and and also serves as chairman extraordinary convention.

The decision was taken at the ongoing meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee based on the recommendation of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

Buhari’s new media aide, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this on his Twitter handle.

He wrote, “Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has been dissolved.”

Those in attendance include President Muhammadu Buhari and  Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Goverrnors of Nasarawa , Niger , Jigawa, Pleateau , Imo, Kogi , Yobe , Gombe , Osun , Ogun, Lagos , Kwara, Kebbi, Kano and Ekiti are some of those present.

Also present are Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege; Deputy Speaker Idris Wase; House Leader, Hassan Dogowa and the Deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnenna Ukeje
